After completing her master's degrees at Johns Hopkins University, Loyola College, and University of Maryland at Baltimore, Ms. Betz undertook post-graduate study at the International Psychotherapy Institute and the Baltimore Washington Institute for Psychoanalysis, where she completed analytic training.
Since then, she has held a variety of leadership positions, including program chair and president elect of the American Psychoanalytic Association; program chair of the Affiliate Council of the American Psychoanalytic Association; and president of the Baltimore Washington Society for Psychoanalysis. She currently serves as the director of the Baltimore Washington Institute for Psychoanalysis, where she has taught in the psychoanalytic and psychotherapy training programs for a number of years. In addition, Ms. Betz maintains a private practice of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and supervision in Baltimore.

Dr. Noreen Honeycutt is the head of psychology at Woofound, a training, supervising, and teaching analyst with the Baltimore Washington Center for Psychoanalysis, and a clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland. She has a private practice in Baltimore, where she sees individuals and couples and provides supervision.
In addition, Dr. Honeycutt participates in an array of community outreach programs, such as the Psychoanalytic Case Conference with Pastoral Counseling Services of Maryland. She also serves as the director of the Baltimore Clinic and Referral Service and of the Baltimore Washington Center for Psychoanalysis Film Series, and has started a one-year psychodynamic psychotherapy course in Baltimore for the Baltimore Washington Institute for Psychoanalysis.
